Nativity

Our ward is in charge of the Nativity this year and so we decided to go watch it for Family Home Evening.  We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful night.  The wind wasn’t blowing (miracle!) and it was about 5° above zero.  We got front row seats.  The kids were quite intrigued with the live animals they used, although I got a little worried when the cow attempted to break out of his pen!  Thankfully, the shepherds arrived just in time and were able to secure the fence a bit more.  They did a beautiful job and it was the perfect way to spend the evening together.

I didn’t bring my camera, so when I found these on Facebook I ‘borrowed’ them so that you can see what it was like!

Earlier in the evening we went and watched some skaters in their Christmas program.  The kids were excited to see them skate and Ben enthusiastically called out to each of them to “Go Faster!”.  Emma clapped and cheered, ‘Bravo’, for each number.  It was fun for us to spend the whole evening together doing different things around Town.
