Tuesday morning the kids raced out of their rooms asking if they could look in their stockings and see if Santa had come! We explained that it would still be another month before Santa came and that they would just have to wait. They weren’t too excited about that. Then, this morning came.
I hadn’t heard Emma for a while and then she came into the living room. She sat down by the Christmas tree and just sat there. I asked her what she was doing and she said, “I’m just waiting here for a minute.” I asked her what she was waiting for and she exclaimed, “Santa!” This could be a very long month!
