Yard Work

Lennard rented an aerator and power rake yesterday so we went to work on our yard.  We got both lawns mowed, then aerated, then power raked and then mowed again!  So much work!  We were filthy by the time we got done.  Of course it ended up being one of the hottest days we've had this month too!  We bagged the grass the last time and loaded it into our trailer.  Today we were able to take it to the compost pile at the dump.  I was surprised at how much grass we took off our lawns!  It looks so much better now though!  We were able to get fertilizer on it too and are hoping that we can keep on top of it better this year so that it will be nicer to walk/play on.

The kids were pretty excited to help us empty the trailer.  Hope we can keep them excited to help out as they get older!
