Lennard went in for a follow up visit with our family doctor yesterday and had another x-ray ordered on his wrist. The doctor was not happy that his wrist hadn't been immobilized and then when the x-ray results came in today, we found out why Lennard has still been in so much pain! The scaphoid bone in his wrist is fractured. He said that if it breaks completely, then Lennard will need surgery too! Yikes! He's now been referred to the casting clinic in Lethbridge to get a cast. He is NOT happy about it! We haven't heard from them for an appointment yet... you would think if a cast is needed that it would be a case of sooner rather than later... What a month so far.
