When the kids were born, Lennard’s parents bought us a convertible crib for each of them. They have been great! Super solid and beautiful beds. The kids have been in their toddler beds for a while, but they are getting older (quickly). We have tossed around the idea of getting them mattresses so they could be in the double bed, but it’s always ended up being pushed a little longer. Well, that all ended this week! Costco had their mattresses on sale, so thanks to Grandpa spoiling his grandchildren, we brought home two mattress sets on Thursday evening!
We finally got a chance to work on switching out all the pieces tonight and making their ‘big kid beds’. They LOVE them!
Ben loves to ‘help’!
Of course we’ll now have to look for bedding for both of them, but in the meantime, they are using the quilts I used in school!
