One Last Camping Trip for the Season

We decided to take this weekend and go to Kalispell.  We looked in to getting a hotel room, but they wanted a ridiculous amount of money... so we decided to have one last hurrah in the trailer before the cold weather sets in.  We booked in at Spruce Park on the River again and headed out Friday morning. 

We had 'fun' entertaining the kids.  They were pretty good most of the time.

 

We got the trailer set up and then headed out to HuHot for lunch.  The kids love going, though they don't eat as much as they normally do.  Just way too much to see!  We got a bunch of shopping done in the afternoon.  We found winter coats, snow pants, boots and a few outfits for the kids.  I got a new curtain rod for Emma's room.  We got a few groceries as well and then had dinner back at the trailer.

Saturday morning came far too early.  Ben slept pretty good through the night, but Emma didn't at all.  I was up a minimum of half a dozen times and even ended up sleeping on the couch with her for a while.  Not sure what the problem was, but it wasn't a good night. 

After breakfast, we headed out to do some more shopping and then got back to the campground to hook up the trailer and head home. 

The kids slept almost the whole way home... it was wonderful!  Our last trip with this camper was a lot of fun and we made some fun memories.  The next time we go camping, we'll be in our new fifth wheel trailer!  (More on that later!)
