We got to attend our ward Christmas party tonight. They served a full turkey dinner! Yum! We ended up being the very last table to eat and the kids were extremely hungry by then, but at least the food was delicious.
The kids were excited to find crayons at the tables to draw with while they were waiting (genius!). It also helped that we sat by the Toone’s. Emma and Ben think Sister Toone walks on water!
There was a great turnout. There were a lot there that I didn’t recognize too. The gym was packed!
The program was great. They had a ward band play some Christmas songs and the YM/YW did most of the rest of the program. Songs, dance, piano numbers, etc.
Santa came to visit after everything was done… and got mobbed by excited kids!
Emma declared that she wants a horse for Christmas! (When we got home she clarified that it was a stick horse…)
When I asked Ben what he wanted, he said… ‘A present’. I think Santa can handle that request!
