After a stop at Cabela’s, we headed to Whitefish. I’d seen on-line about an alpine slide and figured that it would be something fun to do with the kids. Little did I know how much fun we would have! It was a blast! We bought a pass for 4 rides and the kids were free. Lennard and I each took a kid and went down and then we all rode the chair lift up the hill to go again. Every time we finished, they asked to go again! We ended up buying another 4 passes and a ride to the summit too. We did the slide first and then took the gondola up to the summit of the mountain.
It was beautiful at the top! We had something to eat at the (overpriced) restaurant and then decided to take the chair lift down the mountain instead of the enclosed gondola. Should have done it the other way… the wind was in our faces on the way down and it got very chilly! Emma was in shorts and had goose bumps all over. We had such a fun time that we can’t wait to come back and do more when the kids are a little bigger. There is a zip line course that we would love to try out.
