After a long, Sunday afternoon of not doing anything and being bored… we pulled out Blokus and attempted to play it with the kids. They did remarkably well and were thrilled to get to play one of ‘mommy and daddy’s’ games. It was a wonderful way to spend the evening together. I loved seeing how excited they got every time they figured out how to put another piece on the board. We’ll definitely need to do more of these kinds of things as a family.
