We spent almost the entire day at the airport today! Lennard had some top soil put around our hangar that he took a couple hours this morning leveling and spreading out (looks so much nicer!). I took the kids and did some grocery shopping around 11:30 and grabbed some stuff for lunch and then we kept working until after 5:00! A lot of time was spent trying to find specific pieces in all the different boxes, but we’re making some headway in assembling what the previous owner had already done. There are still LOTS of steps to do as we have to prime a lot of the pieces and rivet everything.
Lennard was pretty excited to see things coming together though. This is absolutely one of my favorite pictures of him. I love seeing how happy he is!
After playing at the airport all day, Emma was more than a little dirty. Yuck! After a quick dinner, they both ended up in a bath… and then I had to scrub the tub! So much dirt! Ben was content to wait for Emma to be done her bath as he got to play on the iphone for a bit. They’ve been so good at entertaining themselves while we work.
