Hangar Happenings

Lennard decided to take today and the rest of the week off to get going on our hangar.  Ben was in seventh heaven getting to help daddy drill all the holes.  For only being three years old, he is quite mechanically inclined and can figure out what button to push or lever to pull.  It’s fun to watch.

In between holes, I was running back and forth from our hangar to Mark’s hangar that my mom and dad are building.  They were having the roof swung onto the building today and it was a big job (no pun intended).  The kids got front row seats to watch all the action and have a picnic at the same time!

It was quite amazing to watch the guy swing such a huge roof onto the building and be able to adjust it by tiny amounts and get it just right where they needed it.

I finally took the kids home at 8:00.  It was a very long day for them, but they did so good just playing.  Lennard kept working for about another hour and managed to get all the poles swung into the holes, so now he can work on getting them all squared up tomorrow.
